Large cap serial acquirerValeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc (NYSE: VRX) is teaming up with activist investorBill Ackman to pursue large cap Botox maker Allergan, Inc (NYSE: AGN), but stocks like Cutera, Inc (NASDAQ: CUTR), Cynosure, Inc (NASDAQ: CYNO), PhotoMedex Inc (NASDAQ: PHMD) and Syneron Medical Ltd (NASDAQ: ELOS)actually offer investors more exposure to the growing anti aging and aesthetics market (Note: See my recent article: These Small Caps Seek to Treat Your Crow Feet and Double Chin (RVNC & KYTH)). To begin with, Valeant Pharmaceuticals International has a wide focus on neurology, dermatology and infectious diseasesbut acquiring the maker of Botox won be its first foray into the aesthetic marketbecause earlier this year, the company completed its acquisition of Solta Medical Inc (NASDAQ: SLTM) -a designer, developer, manufacturer and marketer ofenergy-based medical device systems for aesthetic applications. And whileAllergan, Inc may be most well known for Botox, its actually a pretty bigcompany focused on a diverse range of areas, including ophthalmic pharmaceuticals, dermatology, neuroscience, urology and cosmeticsmeaning the following stocks offer investors better exposure to the aesthetics market:

Advisors' Opinion:- [By Dan Caplinger]
On Tuesday, Inergy (NYSE: CEQP ) will release its latest quarterly results. The key to making smart investment decisions on stocks reporting earnings is to anticipate how they'll do before they announce results, leaving you fully prepared to respond quickly to whatever inevitable surprises arise. That way, you'll be less likely to make an uninformed knee-jerk reaction to news that turns out to be exactly the wrong move.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By John Udovich]
Obama war on coal has claimed another victim as James River Coal Company (NASDAQ: JRCC) files for Chapter 11, but coal stocks Westmoreland Coal Company (NASDAQ: WLB), Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. (NASDAQ: ARLP) and Hallador Energy Co (NASDAQ: HNRG) have still managed to put in a decent performance for investorsdespite the industry headwinds coming from the White House. Just consider this: By 2025, 300 of America coal plants will close due to EPA policies for a total of 44,000 megawatts of generating capacity in 33 states to be taken off line. Moreover, Democrats have been putting up roadblocks to stop coal exportsone potential industry bright spot as the UShas the largest coal repository in the world.

Top 10 Mid Cap Stocks For 2014: Rubicon Minerals Corp(RBY)
Rubicon Minerals Corporation, a mineral exploration company, engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Canada and the United States. It primarily explores for gold and base metal deposits. The company?s key asset is the Phoenix Gold Project located in the Red Lake gold camp, in the Province of Ontario. As of March 31, 2010, it controlled approximately 65,000 acres of prime exploration ground in the prolific Red Lake gold district of Ontario, Canada, as well as approximately 380,000 acres surrounding the Pogo Mine in Alaska and approximately 225,000 acres in northeast Nevada. The company was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.
Advisors' Opinion:- [By Sean Williams]
Another reason this fund looks attractive (at least to me) is that Rubicon Minerals (NYSEMKT: RBY ) is one of its largest holdings at 6.02% of its assets as of May 10, 2013. Rubicon is in the late stages of the development process for the F2 Gold System, which has yielded drilling assessments as high as 767 grams/ton. F2 appears to be just as bountiful in gold well below the surface as it is near the surface, which could mean a very long and profitable mine life for Rubicon.

Advisors' Opinion:- [By WALLSTCHEATSHEET]
Time Warner Cable provides entertainment, voice, and high-speed data services to a growing customer base in the United States. The company is looking to acquire a stake in Hulu in order to increase the firm’s competitiveness, however, other companies are looking to acquire Time Warner Cable. The stock has been on a strong move higher, and is now trading near all-time high prices. Over the last four quarters, investors in the company have expected a little more from recent earnings reports, though earnings and revenue figures have been steadily rising. Relative to its peers and sector, Time Warner Cable has been an average year-to-date performer. Look for Time Warner Cable to OUTPERFORM.

Perhaps Verizon should have made this issue more public and not agreed to it without a good public fight, and in that way forced all of its peers to also bear this weight today, if they are not involved. Though it was restricted in that way due to the issue's secret status. Since it seems logical and probable that other telecommunications providers are involved, Verizon should make a major PR effort to clear its name or at least bring in the names of its peers into the judgment pool. Verizon is at the center of the spotlight because of the Guardian article that broke the news, and because it is the largest telecommunications company in America. I believe it could mitigate any brand damage I'm speaking of here if it can implicate its most important peers as well, including AT&T (T), Sprint Nextel (S), Comcast (CMCSA), Time Warner Cable (TWC) and the rest, in the same mess.

Falling behind
If there's a lesson for companies to learn here, it's that consistency means a lot to consumers. If everything is going crazy, we often turn to the familiar to comfort ourselves -- and shopping is no different. Contrast the success that Gap and Costco have had with the lackluster flatlining over at L Brands (NYSE: LTD ) . The company had no change in comparable in-store sales in June, and online sales of Victoria's Secret fell 9%. L Brands has had a hard time keeping customers interested, and its comparable sales have been up and down as a reflection. Because it has had seasonal flops, it's been forced into promotional activity that throws consumers off, and as a result, it can't give its customers the experience that they expect. - [By Ben Levisohn]
Shares of the Gap have jumped 8.9% to $41.12, while L Brands (LTD) has gained 1.6% to $62.77, Urban Outfitters (URBN) has risen 2.1% to $39.27 and Ann (ANN) has advanced 1.5% to $35.47.

Earlier this morning, TheBuckle (NYSE: BKE ) , Costco (NASDAQ: COST ) , and L Brands (NYSE: LTD ) reported May sales, and everyone did better. That's not to say that the market loved the results, but investors may be breathing a sigh of relief nevertheless. The range for the three retailers was fairly tight, but there are still some ups and downs for investors to keep in mind.
